Rick Trevino's Columbia album Looking For The Light
is likely to turn more than a few ears in Nashville. With 11 cuts
slated to be included, several will undoubtedly make the airwaves.
"Full Deck Of Cards" hits you head on as the first cut. Full of
drive and energy, it holds the promise of a top 10 hit.
The Merle Haggard / Tommy Collins penned "Poor, Broke, Mixed
Up Mess Of A Heart" is a delightful romp of a song. "I Want A
Girl In A Pick-Up Truck" with its Cajun flavored fiddle licks is a
natural answer song to Joe Diffie's "Pick-Up Man."
The album closes out with "San Antonio Rose To You," the only
Trevino authored tune included.
For a sophomore effort Looking For The Light is a wonderful
collection of rockin' twang
